Yellowstone National Park is AWESOME!!!!!

Vacation - Yellowstone National Park was AWESOME! I can't believe I waited this long to explore it. It is on my list to go back someday and I encourage everyone who has not been there to GO! We rented a small cabin at the Northeast entrance, very comfortable and had "Nickoli" the bison living in the back yard. The beauty is amazing, the wildlife everywhere, my favorites- Lamar Valley, North Rim view, Trout Lake, and Yellowstone Lake tour with Mr. Kredit.

Wyatt had his last game of the Lacrosse season on Saturday in Friday Harbor. They played the #1 team in the division, they did not win, but we all had a good time together. Coach Peter (who is an awesome coach) let everyone have playing time and told them to have fun. Wyatt got a lot of playing time, we all had a great day in the San Juan Islands and it was a good end to the season.

Yes, everything about the desert is GREAT - weather, good company of friends and family, accommodations, food, shopping...

Karen and I were a guests at the Kenner home for 3 glorious sunny days in PSP. We went to a couple new restaurants, visited cousins (Guy made the BEST steaks & Zack kept us entertained), shopping with Kathy & Chris to all the hot spots, relaxed by the pool and soaked up the sun, lunch at the Country club, and read a book.

Wyatt's Lacrosse season has started so it's school, practice, homework, bed, repeat. Go number "7".

A GOLD MEDAL DAY AT THE 2010 OLYMPICS

Our second trip to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics was also amazing. Combination of perfect weather, good company and lots of action! We went with Bill, Jodi, Alex, Hana, Randy, Janice, Wyatt, Jeff and myself - quite a crew of Olympic fans. We watched the "Bobsled" or "Bobsleigh" 2 man final round. The U.S. and Canada were in the top six so it made it very exciting to watch.
Lots to cheer about -
-Janice got the "red mitten medal" for finding the last pair of adult red mittens in all of Whistler (hiding under the bin).
-Randy and Janice also received the "Almost Silver medal" celebrating their 24 year anniversary that day
-Hana got the "best fan" medal for joining a bunch of crazy Swedish fans and singing.
-Bill and Jodi received the "best photography" medal - check out www.simpleeverydaylifeonthehill.blogspot.com
-Alex got the medal for braving the cold (the event started after the sun went down-3 hour delay) - and with NO complaints in only a sweatshirt! Brrrrr!
-Wyatt was awarded the "most Olympic pins" medal -see collection on hat.
-My loving husband got the "best chauffeur" medal, driving 2 trips to Whistler in 8 days.
It was definitely a GOLD MEDAL DAY - one to be remembered for a long time!
